The Pilea Peperomioides (Chinese Money Plant) is known by many names, including Chinese Money Tree or UFO Plant. This plant looks decorative and is also suitable for absolute beginners who think they lack a green thumb. The Pilea Peperomioides is perfect as a hanging plant or as decoration in a terrarium.
General Information
Your healthy quality plant arrives freshly repotted in a larger black culture pot with drainage hole made from recycled material and fresh, peat-free Swiss soil. This way, you won't have to worry about repotting. You may need an outer pot or saucer. The pot has a diameter of 15 cm, and the plant has a height of approximately 25 cm including the pot. The suitable outer pot has a diameter of 16 cm or 17 cm. Shipping is done securely packaged and directly from Switzerland. During the cold season, we ship your plant with a heat pack to protect it from the cold. You can trust that you will receive a hand-selected top-quality plant.
Care Instructions
Location: Choose a location with partial shade to bright light. No direct sunlight, as the sensitive leaves may burn.
Watering: Moderate. Approximately every 7 to 10 days. Stick your finger one to two centimeters into the soil. Water well. Ensure that excess water can drain away. To do this, remove the outer pot for a few minutes. Adjust the watering interval depending on the location and season!
Fertilizing: From March to October: once a month with liquid fertilizer for green or houseplants.
