Product details

Musa Dwarf Cavendish (real banana)

Musa Dwarf Cavendish (real banana) is probably the most familiar of all banana plants. At least if we have ever eaten a banana fruit. The fruit you buy in the shop comes from this plant and is therefore edible. Banana plants are generally very decorative and add a touch of tropical flair to the ambience. Bananas are definitely an eye-catcher and well worth the somewhat more intensive care. The Musa Dwarf Cavendish (real banana) can be cultivated indoors with plenty of light all year round. Regular moistening of the leaves is desirable. Place the plant in a light or semi-shaded location. No direct sunlight. The fruits of this plant are available in the supermarket as Chiquita banana, among others.

Before shipping, the plant is repotted in fresh soil in a new anthracite-coloured growing pot with a hole in the bottom (gallery image). This means you no longer have to worry about it and the plant has enough space. You may need a saucer or outer pot.
