Product details

The Salix Flamingo harlequin willow hardy is a truly beautiful, deciduous willow from Japan. It has a striking appearance due to the magnificent white-pink colour of the leaves in spring, which gives the impression that the plant is in bloom! Even after it has lost its leaves in autumn, the branches of the Salix Flamingo continue to steal the show thanks to their striking bright orange colour. The Salix Flamingo ensures a colourful garden all year round.

Care
The Salix Flamingo is a hardy plant that can tolerate a maximum temperature of -15 °C. It can grow up to 3 metres high and two metres wide. It is recommended to prune the Salix every year in March to maintain the compact, full bush. This also ensures that the new leaves retain their striking pink colour. The Salix also prefers moist soil, making sure that its roots are not constantly covered with water. Do not place the tree in direct sunlight, as this could burn its beautiful leaves.
