Panicum virgatum 'Northwind' is a beautiful ornamental grass with blue-green leaves. The plant flowers from July to October with beautiful silver-white panicles. In autumn, the foliage turns light yellow-brown and the panicles turn beige. The plant is evergreen until late winter, but then sheds its leaves and sprouts again in spring. This beautiful ornamental grass can grow up to 200 cm tall and is therefore suitable for any garden.

Care
Panicum Northwind prefers a sunny position in moist, slightly acidic soil. It is important that the plant receives sufficient water in dry seasons. It is recommended to cut the plant back to 10-20 cm above the ground every year in March. This will keep the ornamental grass healthy and you will soon see new shoots.
