Product details
Hydrangea paniculata 'Early Harry' is a very early-flowering panicle hydrangea. It grows to a height of around 100 to 150 cm and blooms profusely with large creamy white to pale pink flowers. The beautiful flowering period begins in May and can last until July. The white flowers take on a pale pink colour over time. The dark green leaves emphasise the flowers even more. In autumn, the leaves turn yellow before the hydrangea loses its foliage for the winter. The Early Harry feels just as at home outdoors as it does in a large pot, making it suitable for any size and type of garden.
Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need plenty of water, especially in summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a lot of water at once, rather than just a little every now and then. It can be planted from March to mid-October, either in the open ground or in a decorative pot, although it thrives best in the open ground. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between the plants. The plant is best pruned in March, about 30 cm above the ground. The more the hydrangea is cut back, the larger the flowers will be.
