Care
The Ficus Elastica Belize is a very easy houseplant to care for. The rubber plant likes a light spot, but try to avoid direct sunlight, so don't place the plant too close to the window. The ficus also prefers a temperature of at least 15 degrees. It is advisable to remove the leaves occasionally to encourage growth, as they can collect a lot of dust. The Ficus Belize needs water about once or twice a week. Allow the soil to dry out well between waterings and the plant needs less water in winter. Between March and September, the Ficus will want to receive some plant food regularly. After all, the rubber plant can grow up to 2 metres tall in a spacious pot!
