Fargesia Grex is a beautiful species of bamboo native to China. This bamboo is very low-maintenance and has an airy, tall growth habit, and it is non-invasive. The color change occurs after a few years; when the plants are delivered, the stems have a greenish hue. The bamboo is hardy down to about -20 degrees Celsius. Care
Fargesia prefers a spot in full sun or partial shade and requires moderate to ample water. Water the plants regularly in summer and on hot days. It is recommended to plant the bamboo with a spacing of 40-60 cm apart when placing it in open ground. However, it is also possible to plant the plants in a pot in the garden. When planted in a pot, the bamboo will not develop the blue color.
