Product details

Lucky bamboo is actually not bamboo at all; it originates from Dracaena Sanderiana, which belongs to the lily family. Lucky bamboo has a long history in China and the Far East, with a strong connection to Feng Shui. According to Feng Shui teachings, lucky bamboo brings positive energy into any space. In Asia, people buy lucky bamboo for the New Year celebration, to commemorate a housewarming, or simply to spread positivity and good fortune. Lucky bamboo is very durable; it only requires water and can last a long time.

Care
Lucky bamboo is typically sold only in water, but it naturally grows in soil. The water in which lucky bamboo is kept should be refreshed every two weeks. It is often described as a houseplant that requires low light. The stems thrive best in rooms with low to medium light. Be sure to protect it from direct sunlight to avoid leaf burn. It is important that the room temperature remains between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, but lucky bamboo also prefers slightly warmer conditions. Please note: Lucky bamboo is toxic to pets and should be kept out of their reach.
