Product details

The Adenium, better known as the Desert Rose, is a particularly beautiful plant. As the name suggests, it originates from the arid regions of the desert in East and Northeast Africa. Here, the Adenium can grow up to 5 meters tall, featuring a beautiful, characterful, bare trunk. Fortunately, it does not grow that tall in our climate. The Desert Rose captivates with its lovely pink flowers, fresh green leaves, and the quirky shape of its stem.

Care
Since the Adenium is a Desert Rose, it requires plenty of sunlight, preferably facing south. If the Adenium does not receive enough light, it will not bloom. Water the Adenium regularly with small sips of water. The plant typically blooms until the end of July, with a second blooming period from September to October. If the Adenium becomes too large, you can partially prune it, preferably after the blooming period. When the plant develops side shoots, it is best to cut these off. This way, the plant can focus its energy solely on the flowers at the top. When the plant is blooming, it needs more water than usual.
