Phoenix Contact Surge arrester

The plug-in surge arrester from Phoenix Contact is a reliable protection device designed according to Type 2 / Class II standards. It is suitable for single-phase power supply networks with a separate neutral conductor (N) and protective conductor (PE) in a 3-wire system (L1, N, PE). This device not only provides effective surge protection but also features precise function monitoring through an integrated status display. The surge arrester is compatible with both analog and digital telecommunications interfaces and supports high data transmission rates, including VDSL and G.fast. Installation is straightforward, as the device can be mounted on a wall or on a mounting rail. With a nominal discharge current of 40 kA, it ensures high protection against surges and additionally offers integrated overload protection.
