Product details
Pluggable lightning current and surge arrester combination (type 1+2/Class I+II arrester) consisting of protective plugs and a base element for rail mounting. It provides protection for 1-phase power supply networks with separate N and PE (3-wire system: L1, N, PE).
Equipment features encapsulated spark gaps with an ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage, and varistors connected directly in parallel. There is an additional pluggable total current spark gap between N and PE. Function monitoring is available for Class I and Class II arresters, with the ability to switch off the individual L-N protection paths in the event of a fault.
Operating current-free (mechanical) optical defect indication and defect remote indication in the L-N paths for Class I and Class II arresters are facilitated via a common potential-free changeover contact. The basic element can be mounted with variable connections (outer conductor from above or below). Protective plugs can optionally be inserted into the base element rotated by 180° (plug label legible).
Mechanical coding of the base element and plug prevents incorrect assembly with incompatible plugs. There is a labeling option for the protective plug and terminals, along with biconnect terminals for connecting round conductors and wiring bridges.
