This pluggable lightning current arrester (Type 1/Class I arrester) functions as an N/PE spark gap, featuring an ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage. It offers protection against incorrect plugs through mechanical coding of the base element and plug. There is a labeling option for protective plugs and connection terminals on the base element. It includes two biconnect terminals each for N and PE, designed for connecting round conductors and wiring bridges.
