PFERD grinding wheel ER 40-4 SG for steel, cast steel, cast iron, and stainless steel (INOX). This wheel features a shape 1 (ER) and is made of abrasive corundum A. It offers aggressive grinding action and a long service life, making it ideal for machining hard-to-reach areas. Suitable for weld seam machining, chamfering, deburring, and gouging. It should be used with a mounted tool holder on die grinders, adhering to the maximum permissible speed of the tool holder.

For pneumatic die grinders, grinding wheels with diameters from 50 mm must be used with a protective cover (ISO 11148-7). For electric die grinders, grinding wheels with diameters from 55 mm must be used with a protective cover (EN 60745-2-3).
