The advantage of a machine tap over a hand tap set is that only one pass is required to create the thread. This tap is used for producing metric ISO standard threads. At the end of the cylindrical shank, there is a square for clamping in a tap wrench. The tap is manufactured according to DIN ISO 529 and conforms to the tolerance class h6.
