Pattex Hotmelt Sticks – The universal hot glue sticks for crafting, decorating, or repairing
The perfect hot glue for crafting, repairing, or DIY projects: With the silicone-free Pattex Hotmelt Sticks, dried adhesive joints can be loaded after just 2 minutes. Due to the glue's high transparency, it is ideal for discreet bonding. This hot glue can be used on a variety of materials, including wood, cardboard, metal, stone, or plastics. The hot glue sticks, with a diameter of 11 mm, can be used not only in Pattex hot glue guns but also in all other suitable hot glue guns.
Application:
1. Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials can be used as substrates. The surface must be dry, clean, and grease-free.
2. Apply the adhesive on one side and press the parts together firmly immediately. The higher the temperature of the adhesive during assembly, the stronger the bond will be. Excess adhesive can be cut away with a sharp, preheated knife.
Not suitable for soft PVC, PE, PP, PTFE, and similar materials. Do not apply hot glue directly to Styrofoam, as it may melt.

Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: To ensure that the adhesive sets, either the substrate or the material to be bonded must be absorbent or permeable to moisture. All substrates must be clean, dust-free, dry, sound and grease-free. Remove water-swellable and loose coatings and wallpaper. Clean highly absorbent and dusty surfaces, if necessary pre-treat with a deep penetrating primer such as Metylan Universal Wallpaper Primer to prevent rapid setting. Application: Apply the adhesive directly from the cartridge using a cartridge gun. Apply undiluted adhesive in dots or lines to the material to be bonded or to the substrate. Fixing: Press workpieces firmly into place within 5-10 minutes. In the case of materials under tension or heavy materials, support or additionally fix. |
