A continuous filter is fed by a pump lying in the water. The filter forms the highest point in this cleaning circuit, from where the water flows back into the pond. The water is cleaned by sponges inside the filter, which after some time also become the home for the industrious microorganisms. The advantage of continuous flow filters: they are located above ground and are easily accessible, so cleaning and maintenance are done quickly. As the ideal partner for your pond, the BioSmart Set 14000 flow-through filter set guarantees clear water - up to a pond size of 14 m³ (or up to 7 m³ for fish stock and 3.5 m³ for koi). The 70 watt filter pump included in the set with its output of 3400 l/h reliably ensures a replenishment in the flow filter and is therefore optimally matched to it. The same applies to the 11 Watt UVC pre-treatment unit integrated in the filter, which perfectly complements the filter performance. The 3 m long hose rounds off the complete set. Thanks to special guidance in the filter, the water is also enriched with valuable oxygen. The contamination of the filter sponges is indicated on the outside, which can be easily cleaned with external handles. Your hands remain clean. Toxic decomposition products such as ammonium, ammonia, nitrite or nitrate are effectively broken down in the various sponges. The UVC unit integrated in the filter or included in the set ensures the rapid removal of algae and pathogens. The thermometer indicates the current water temperature at any time. 1/3 of the filter housing can be buried.
