Take good care of your mushroom harvest. Our Karl-Johan is your best tool for cleaning gilled mushrooms, porcini, and everything in between.

The 62 mm long blade of the mushroom knife is made from Swedish stainless steel. The handle is ergonomically shaped and feels comfortable in your hand. The brush is made from real horsehair, allowing you to remove dirt without damaging the mushroom. It features a practical blade cover that lets you carry Karl Johan on your belt or in your buttonhole, ensuring it's always within reach when the treasures of the forest suddenly appear.

This knife is not compatible with fire starters. This means we prioritized a sharp and durable edge along with a solid grip, which results in the back of the blade not taking up much space. If you use this knife in other contexts, keep in mind that it has this unpolished blade back, so it cannot be used with a fire starter.
