Take good care of your mushroom finds. Our Karl-Johan is your best tool for cleaning gilled mushrooms, porcini, and everything in between.

The 62 mm long blade of the mushroom knife is made from Swedish stainless steel. The handle is ergonomically shaped and feels comfortable in the hand. The brush is made from real horsehair, allowing you to remove dirt without damaging the mushroom. It features a practical blade guard, meaning you can hang Karl Johan on your belt or in your buttonholes – always at hand when the treasures of the forest suddenly appear.

This knife is not fire steel compatible. This means we prioritized a sharp and durable edge along with a solid grip, which is why the back of the blade does not take up much space. If you use this knife in contexts other than intended, keep in mind that it has this unpolished blade back – it cannot be used with a fire starter.
