Take good care of your mushroom pickings. Our Karl-Johan is your best tool for cleaning out gilled mushrooms, ceps, and everything in between.

This 62 mm long blade of the mushroom knife is made of Swedish stainless steel. The handle has been ergonomically shaped and is comfortable to hold in your hand. Its brush is made of real horsehair, allowing you to remove dirt without damaging the mushroom. It has a practical edge cover, which means you can hang Karl Johan on your belt or in your buttonhole – always close at hand for when the forest’s treasures suddenly appear.

This knife is not fire steel compatible. This means that we have prioritized a sharp and durable edge together with a firm grip, which means that the appearance of the blade back is not given as much space. If you use this knife in contexts other than those intended, remember that it has this unpolished blade back – so it cannot be used with a fire starter.
