Product details

Ceramic pot in taupe, planted with a Haworthia 'Savanna' and decorated with a banana fruit stand and Tiririca bark.

Light requirements:
Haworthia prefers bright, indirect light. A spot near a window that receives plenty of light but no direct sunlight is ideal. Direct midday sun can scorch the leaves of the Haworthia, especially during the hot summer months. Morning sun or late afternoon sun is acceptable. Haworthia can also survive in shadier areas but grows best with adequate light. Insufficient light can cause the plant to become "leggy" and lose its compact, sturdy appearance.

Watering:
Haworthia requires very little water as it is a succulent and stores water in its leaves. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot from overwatering. Check the top layer of soil (about 2-3 cm) with your finger before watering. If the soil is dry, it's time to water. If it is still moist, wait a few days and check again.

Lifespan Haworthia

The lifespan of a Haworthia can be several decades if cared for properly. These hardy succulents are known for their longevity and ability to thrive in a variety of conditions.
