The D0 fuse system is used in low-voltage installations where the fuse links are accessible to laypersons and can be replaced by them. It is the most modern screw fuse system designed for 400 VAC/250 VDC. The sizes D01, D02, and D03 form the D0 system. D0 fuse links are used to protect cables and installations. They safely disconnect excessive overloads and short-circuit currents up to the rated cutoff current. D0 fuse links of the operating class gG also protect electrical devices and installations from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents.
