The new generation of slim 3-phase switching power supplies in the TDR-240 series (240 W) from Mean Well features an input range of 340 to 550 VAC (2-phase operation possible with derating), a fanless design with free air convection, and is suitable for DIN rail mounting on TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15. Its operating temperature range is between -30 and 70 °C, with full load operation possible up to 60 °C. To solve space issues in confined areas, the new series is only 63 mm wide, making it 43% smaller than the previous DRT-240 series. Applications include industrial control systems, factory automation, industrial electrical equipment, and environments that require low noise levels and fanless power supplies. The product line meets industrial immunity standards according to EN61000-6-2 (EN50082-2) as well as international safety approvals UL61010/TÜV EN61558-2-16/EAC/CE. Additionally, it is protected against short circuits, overloads, overvoltage, and overheating.
