This safety shoe meets the performance requirements of safety class S3 and is certified according to BGR 191. Hydrohphobic nubuck leather is resistant to abrasion. Furthermore, the textile material Cordura© was used, which is also very tear and abrasion resistant. A GORE-TEX® climate membrane prevents water from entering the shoe, but is still breathable. Ergonomically shaped steel toecaps protect the RENEGADE WORK GTX® Mid S3 from impact and compressive stresses. Puncture protection is provided by a steel midsole made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The two-layer tread sole LOWA ATC 2000 guarantees very good slip resistance and is antistatic, abrasion-resistant as well as heat-resistant up to approx. 130°C and cold-flexible down to approx. -20°C.
