This safety shoe meets the performance requirements of safety class S3 and is certified according to BGR 191. Hydrohphobic nubuck leather is resistant to abrasion. Furthermore, the textile material Cordura© was used, which is also very tear and abrasion resistant. A GORE-TEX climate membrane prevents water from entering the shoe, but is still breathable. Ergonomically shaped steel toecaps protected the RENEGADE WORK GTX Mid S3 from impact and compressive stress. Puncture protection is provided by a steel midsole made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The two-layer tread sole LOWA ATC 2000 guarantees very good slip resistance and is antistatic, abrasion-resistant as well as heat-resistant up to approx. 130°C and cold-flexible down to approx. -20°C.
