Product details

Surface sealant, versatile flexible silicone sealant. Ideal for flexible sealing surfaces, machined or moulded surfaces, metal or plastic. Loctite SI 5926 cures when it comes into contact with moisture present in the air to form a flexible seal. This product is resistant to ageing, weathering and temperature cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking. It also resists vibration and thermal expansion and stress. It is commonly used for timing cases, differential covers, oil pans, transmission housings, water pumps and thermostat housings. This product is typically used in a temperature range from -55 °C to 200 °C.
