ÖLFLEX® 408 P cables are VDE certified connection and control cables designed for occasional movement as well as fixed installation under medium mechanical stress. They are suitable for use in dry, damp, and wet environments. Outdoors, they should only be used while observing the temperature ranges. At room temperature, they are largely resistant to the effects of acids, alkalis, and certain oils. The outer sheath withstands high mechanical stress, particularly abrasion and wear, is cut-resistant, microbe-resistant, and hydrolysis-resistant. They are suitable for free and non-continuous movement without tensile stress or forced guidance. Areas of application include connection and control cables for control systems in machine tools, conveyor systems, production lines, flow and assembly lines, as well as for measurement and control technology and data processing systems.
