Dosing swimming pool: - After filling the pool, always reduce the alkali content to 100 ppm with 32% hydrochloric acid first - During the bathing season, if the pH value falls below 7.0: - per 0.1 pH unit = 75 - 100 g WATCON PLUS per 10,000 litres - First dissolve the calculated amount of WATCON PLUS in a bucket of water! Then slowly pour it into the water along the edge of the pool while the circulation is running. Alternatively: Simply sprinkle the granules onto the surface of the water while the circulation is running. - After 12 hours, measure the pH value and if it is still too high, repeat the dosing as above - Calculation example based on an alkalinity of 100 ppm: - Measured pH value = 6.8 - Target value = 7.2 - Correction by 0.4 pH units = 4 x 75-100 g = 300 - 400 g/10,000 litres - First dissolve the calculated amount of WATCON PLUS in a bucket of water! Then slowly pour it into the water along the edge of the pool while the filter system is running! Dosing whirlpool: - If the pH value is below 7.0, increase to the ideal value of 7.2 with WATCON PLUS: - Approx. 15-20 g WATCON PLUS for 1,000 litres, sprinkle directly into the water. - If necessary, add more until the pH value of 7.2 is reached.
