The KUB Pentron® indexable insert drill with cylindrical shank from Komet is a highly advanced tool designed for demanding drilling applications. With optimal body strength and a special surface treatment, this drill offers outstanding performance and longevity. It ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, even under the most challenging drilling conditions. The design allows for reduced inventory costs, as identical internal and external inserts can be used. The drill is suitable for axial drilling with a maximum offset of 0.25 mm and achieves a maximum diameter of D + 0.5 mm through adjustment. The drilling tolerance is ⌀D − 0.1 / + 0.3 mm, enabling precise machining. The KUB Pentron® is ideal for extreme machining situations and is delivered without indexable cutting inserts, but includes clamping screws.
