It is particularly suitable for extreme machining situations and ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, even under the most challenging conditions. The capability for axial offset drilling up to a maximum of 0.25 mm significantly expands the drill's range of applications. Additionally, the use of identical internal and external inserts allows for reduced inventory costs. The drill is equipped with clamping screws but does not include indexable inserts, making it suitable for a variety of applications, especially in metalworking.
