The AKEMI grinding and polishing paste is a water- and solvent-based product that contains high-quality abrasives and special waxes. It is light gray in color and has a density of approximately 1.40 g/cm³. The paste is water-miscible and free from silicone and ammonia, making it particularly gentle on materials. Its special formulation achieves a strong grinding effect while simultaneously promoting high gloss development. It leaves no oily film and has a low odor. The application is ideally done mechanically with a damp foam or lambskin pad at 1500 to 2500 RPM. During the polishing process, it is important to keep the paste and pad moist. Residues can be easily removed with a damp cloth. After drying, the surface can be brought to a high gloss with lambskin or polishing cotton. Storage should be in a cool place in the tightly closed original container, which ensures a shelf life of about one year. A preliminary test in an inconspicuous area is recommended.
