Knipex StepCut

Small, lightweight, and powerful, this tool allows for comfortable cutting without crushing and has a size of just 160 mm. It requires significantly less effort, as the stepped design cuts the wires sequentially, making cutting up to 40% easier than with conventional cable cutters of the same length.

The ergonomic handle design ensures an optimal cutting feel, even with larger cable diameters. It can cut multi-stranded, stranded copper and aluminum cables with a diameter of up to 15 mm (50 mm²) as well as solid copper and aluminum cables up to 5 x 4 mm².

This tool cuts without crushing and features a bolted joint for precise, effortless, and durable operation. It is not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 56 HRC.
