Knipex Alligator offers good access to the workpiece due to its slim head and joint area. It provides more output and comfort compared to conventional water pump pliers of the same length, featuring a 9-notch adjustment that allows for 30% more gripping capacity. The tool is self-locking on pipes and nuts, preventing slipping on the workpiece and requiring low hand force. The gripping surfaces have specially hardened teeth with a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, ensuring high wear resistance and stable gripping. The box-joint design contributes to high stability due to its double guide. Its robust construction is insensitive to dirt, and a pinch guard prevents operators' fingers from being pinched.
