Short, lightweight hollow chisel, according to DIN 5142, with a flattened beechwood handle "KIRSCHEN". The chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. They have a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire usable length of the blade, significantly exceeding DIN standards, and produce a smooth cut due to their flawlessly polished surface. The chisels are factory-set with a cutting angle of 25°. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. We recommend honing the edge of our chisels with a sharpening stone before first use.
