Short hollow chisel, lightweight, according to DIN 5142, with a flattened beechwood handle "KIRSCHEN". Chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. They have a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire usable length of the blade, well above the DIN standard, and produce a smooth cut due to their scratch-free polished surface. The chisels are factory-shipped with a cutting angle of 25°. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. We recommend honing the edge of our chisels with a sharpening stone before first use.
