The forged special tool steel blade achieves a hardness of 61 HRC along its entire working length thanks to salt-bath heat treatment.
Initial sharpening required before first use
Before working for the first time, the blade must be honed with a whetstone at a cutting angle of 25° to achieve a razor-sharp edge.
Rust protection through regular oiling
To protect the tool from moisture and rust, it is recommended to clean the blade after each use with a slightly oil-dampened cloth.
