Introduced in 2000 as a sofa, armchair, and side table, they represent a revolution in design as they lack a supporting frame made of other materials. The so-called "industrial" garden furniture impresses not only with its weather-resistant and stable construction but also with its design: With the revival of the typical "grandma" couch, Philippe Starck appeals to the coziness that should also be present on terraces and in gardens.
