The flush-mounted fire protection box (1564-01) maintains the fire resistance duration in fire protection walls of solid construction EI30-EI120 despite installed electrical installations. Even when the required minimum remaining wall thickness of 60 mm is not met in one-sided or directly opposite installation cases, the fire protection box ensures a secure and smoke-tight room closure. An integrated insulation layer former quickly and reliably seals the installation opening in the event of a fire, thus preventing the transmission of flames and smoke gases. Additionally, the continuation of fire due to insufficient remaining wall thicknesses is excluded.
