UL, CSA. GSS series, safety limit switch. Designed according to the operational and mounting characteristics per EN50041. The limit switches of the GSS series are specifically designed for use in safety applications. All devices are independently tested according to the standards IEC947-5-1/EN60947-5-1 and meet the essential requirements of the Low Voltage Directive for switching devices. They are all marked as positively opening and comply with the provisions of the Machinery Directive as amended by Directive 91/368/EEC. They are devices of category 1 according to EN954-1. The category can be increased to 4 in conjunction with safety relays. Protection class IP67. Typical application cases include safety doors where key orientation has proven to be a problem that cannot be resolved by key-operated switches, as well as situations where the user must be able to distinguish critical safety components on the machine from standard sensors.
