EN60947-5-1, IEC947-5-1, UL, CSA. Held contact, limit switch with spoke actuation element. This switch with spoke actuation element is designed to detect a passing target and store its position. The target passes through the spoke and rotates it by a quarter turn. This switches the switch, which is normally a closed circuit, from ON to OFF. When another target passes through the spoke, the switch is switched from OFF to ON this time. Alternatively, the target can pass back through the spoke and switch the switch from OFF to ON. The once-turned spoke retains its position until it is moved to a new section, unlike the actuation of normal limit switches that tend to return to their rest position. This switch has 4 rest positions at each 90° position within a 360° rotation. The switching point is at 60°, at which point the spoke rotates to the next section.
