With a motor diameter of 59 mm, the motors in this series can be installed on 70 mm octagonal shafts as well as 63 mm, 70 mm, 78 mm, and 85 mm round shafts (e.g., for awning shafts). Motors from the ERN series can be operated with an emergency crank (optional accessory) in the event of a power failure. All motors in this series are maintenance-free, have a long lifespan, and feature thermal overload protection. The ERN series is designed for heavy loads, such as those found in industrial buildings, as well as for larger awnings. Almost any awning and cassette awning can be equipped with a tubular motor that is inserted into the awning shaft. This allows the awning to be automatically extended and retracted in a short time. With our 140 Nm strong ERN1070-140 motor, you can easily motorize awnings (with two articulated arms) up to a size of 64 m².
