Hanno BSB BG1

This special fire protection tape is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 T1 and can be used up to fire resistance class EI 120. It can also be used for joints exposed to direct weather conditions, interior doors, partition walls, fire-resistant windows, and to form joints between masonry elements to ensure fire resistance. According to DIN EN 1366-4, the fire resistance duration is up to 120 minutes with double installation between masonry and brickwork, and 60 minutes with double installation between masonry and wooden frames.

For a system test block frame with a width of 59 mm, a 12 mm joint is filled with BSB BG1 fire protection tape 20/7-12, and the remaining joint is filled with fire protection foam, resulting in a fire resistance duration of 36 minutes. For a system test block frame with a width of 60 mm, a 12 mm joint is filled with two layers of BSB BG1 fire protection tape 15/7-12, achieving a fire resistance duration of 35 minutes. The building material class is B1 flame-retardant according to DIN 4102, and emissions are measured by Eurofins Product Testing A/S.
