The upper is made of waterproof leather that is hydrophobic and breathable (5.0 mg/cm²/h), with a thickness of 2.5 - 2.7 mm.

The inner lining is made of GORE-TEX® Performance, which is both waterproof and breathable, providing optimal climate comfort for all seasons under the highest demands. It ensures increased chemical protection. The moisture-absorbing synthetic/fleece insole is dimensionally stable, torsion-resistant, and reduces pressure points (e.g., from stones). It features an anatomically shaped design with excellent moisture absorption and quick drying, and it is replaceable and washable.

The shoe includes a flexible, lightweight, and puncture-resistant metallic sole insert. The rubber outsole has a proven street/terrain tread, is abrasion-resistant and slip-proof, with a large beveled tread surface for increased rolling comfort. The rubber sole offers excellent insulation against cold and heat. It is heat and fuel resistant and does not chalk. The HAIX® Climate System utilizes the pumping motion that occurs when walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the upper and tongue.

It features a steel toe cap (HAIX® Protective steel toe cap).
