Hydrophobic mountain cowhide is water-repellent and breathable. The inner lining features a 4-layer Gore-Tex Performance laminate for extreme requirements. It includes a Class 3 Kevlar cut protection, a dimensionally stable synthetic fire protection sole, and an anatomically shaped toe cap as well as insole. The stable rubber/PU sole has a robust terrain profile, and a PU cushioning wedge ensures good shock absorption and rolling comfort. The Haix climate system includes a Micro-Dry lining at the top of the shaft, while the Haix Forest Grip system provides grip on wet tree trunks. The easy-to-use lacing systems are orthopedically adjustable according to DGUV 112-191.
