Waterproof leather upper, hydrophobic, breathable (5.0 mg/cm²/h), 2.5 – 2.7 mm thick GORE-TEX® Performance lining; 4-layer GORE-TEX® laminate, waterproof and breathable. Highly abrasion-resistant lining with fleece interlayer. Optimal climate comfort for all seasons with the highest demands. Increased chemical protection.

Fleece insole: moisture-absorbing fleece insole. Footbed: anatomically shaped insole with very good moisture absorption and quick drying, replaceable, washable.

Toe cap: anatomically shaped and padded protective cap in wide design.

Anti-puncture sole: flexible, lightweight, anti-puncture sole insert.

Sole: foamed and highly abrasion-resistant rubber cupsole with a street/terrain tread, high temperature resistance, and good rolling comfort. Ladder tread pattern with pronounced heel front. Oil and petrol resistant, non-chalking.

HAIX® Climate System: uses the pumping movement that occurs when walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue.

HAIX® Lacing System: patented lacing/zipper system with internal crossover shoe laces to reduce the risk of snagging.

HAIX® HD Cap System: rubber cap with special profile for longer life.

HAIX® MSL System: MicroSoftLight improves cushioning, extreme weight saving due to the PU foam in the entire sole area, as well as good cold or heat insulation.

Sun Reflect: reduces the heating effect of the upper leather due to sunlight. Sunlight is reflected by the leather, thus conducting heat to the foot.

Other features include a leather loop on the zip, improved tear-out reinforcement on the zip, zip cover, zip fixation (HAIX® EasyZip, replaceable), back pull-on loop, NOMEX® laces, lace fixation and pull-on loop, reflective stripes, heel bend, and bend insert in the instep area.
