The outsole is made of a rubberized material that is resistant to oil, gasoline, heat, and cold, does not discolor, and is self-cleaning. Due to the tread design and the special rubber used, it also offers excellent grip on various surfaces in cold conditions. The durable sole is made from a rubber blend for long-lasting wear. The midsole is an elastic, two-layer PU construction that is lightweight and cushioning and provides a stabilization zone for optimal pressure distribution on uneven terrain. The HAIX climate system utilizes the pumping motion generated while walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings in the upper material and tongue.
