A separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance, featuring "Airflow" channels. The outsole is made of rubber that is resistant to oil, gasoline, heat, and cold, non-marking, and self-cleaning. It offers very good grip on different terrains, even in cold conditions, due to the tread design and the special rubber used. The durable sole is made from a rubber compound for long life. The midsole is an elastic two-layer PU construction that is lightweight and cushioning, with a stabilization zone for optimal pressure distribution on uneven terrain. The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping motion created while walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the upper and tongue.
