The cross-section of a Domino dowel corresponds to that of three round dowels with the same drill diameter, making it extremely stable in comparison. The protruding guide ribs center the dowel in the middle of the Domino mortise, ensuring perfect alignment of the workpieces. Specially shaped glue pockets and longitudinal grooves distribute the glue evenly for an optimal connection. Excess glue can escape through the side longitudinal grooves. The dowel is 100% twist-proof from the very first use. Finding the right dowel is made easier by embossed size markings. The unique shape, combined with the swelling glue pockets and longitudinal grooves, provides the dowels with a secure hold. For absolutely twist-proof connections and maximum stability, the processing is significantly faster: the first dowel hole is very easily aligned and precisely milled using stop flaps. It immediately fixes the workpieces to be joined exactly and flush with the edge. The Domino system also tolerates minor inaccuracies in the subsequent dowel holes.
