The cross-section of a Domino dowel corresponds to that of three round dowels with the same drill diameter, making it extremely stable in comparison. The lateral guide ribs center the dowel perfectly in the Domino routing and ensure precise alignment of the workpieces. Specially shaped glue pockets and longitudinal grooves distribute the glue evenly for an optimal connection. Excess glue can escape through the lateral grooves. The dowel is 100% twist-proof from the very first use. Chamfered ends facilitate the joining of workpieces. The quick identification of the correct dowel is supported by embossed size markings. The unique shape, combined with swelling glue pockets and longitudinal grooves, provides the dowels with a secure hold. For absolutely twist-proof connections and maximum stability, the processing is significantly faster: the first dowel hole is very easily aligned and precisely routed using stop flaps. It immediately fixes the workpieces to be joined exactly and flush to the edge. The Domino system also tolerates minor inaccuracies in the subsequent dowel holes.
