The Famag router bit is a versatile tool designed for precise wood and plastic machining. With two carbide-tipped cutting edges arranged parallel to the axis, this bit allows for both face and peripheral cutting applications. The ground face cutting edge is unsharpened, making it ideal for grooving, adding finger joints, creating rebates, and producing tongue and groove joints. The bit is suitable for use with solid woods, wood-based materials, and some plastics. Both machine and manual feed are permissible, increasing flexibility in application. For professional applications, the series 3167 with carbide-tipped face cutting edge is recommended.
