Deep groove ball bearings are versatile and can be used in a variety of applications. They consist of solid outer rings, inner rings, and ball cages. Deep groove ball bearings are insensitive during operation and easy to maintain. Due to their low friction moment, they are suitable for high speeds. They are available in single-row and double-row configurations, as well as open and sealed types. Sealed deep groove ball bearings are pre-lubricated for their entire lifespan. The different versions are identified by specific suffixes:
- Standard = No suffixes
- M = Dual lip seals
- Y = Brass cage
- 2Z = Dual Z-shields
- 2RS = Dual lip seals
- C3, C4 = Increased internal clearance.
