Soft starter devices DS7. The soft starter has increasingly established itself as an alternative to the star-delta starter. The new DS7 series combines these advantages with the Eaton xStart system. The DS7 is a fully integrated component of the xStart, and all existing components can be used. The DS7 is designed for standard applications such as pumps, fans, and small conveyor belts. The DS7 is also available with SmartWire-DT connection to simplify wiring and enhance functionality as an automated solution. It can be directly connected to the PKE device. Low operating frequency (5 s, 3 x Ie, 10 starts). The integrated fan eliminates restrictions. Can be used with existing Eaton products. Available from 1.5 kW to 110 kW. Options with 24 V dc as well as 230–460 V ac voltage available. DIN rail mounting or screw fastening. Can be mounted side by side without power reduction. Compact design.
