Compact linear drive units are driven by a trapezoidal threaded spindle and a robust DC motor. They feature automatic switch-off at the retracted and extended positions through integrated unloading switches. The speed can be easily adjusted via the operating voltage, as is typical with DC motors, and forward and reverse movement is achieved by reversing the polarity of the operating voltage.
